About The Position

The Production Line Leader oversees a specific process and actively participates in completing process steps. This role involves providing direction, instructions, and guidance to a group of individuals to achieve production and quality goals for specific work centers.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Demonstrated leadership ability or prior supervisory experience
• General ability to perform all of the duties as described above

Responsibilities

• Enforce all safety rules and company policies
• Communicate work order priorities to the process team
• Assure that all operations and processes are being performed as intended
• Ensure efficiency and quality in the manufacture and assembly of finished goods
• Assure that all quality checks are being performed
• Assure that each operation or process output meets quality and productivity requirements
• Maintain consistent part flow from one process to the next
• Assure that proper packaging and labeling methods are being used
• Report daily productivity and waste quantities
• Report incidents of nonconforming product or raw material
• Maintain accurate inventory numbers
• Assist with training and reinforcement of process steps
• Perform routine PM on equipment and machinery as instructed
• Report all machine breakdowns immediately to supervisor and maintenance
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Other activities that support safety, quality and delivery requirements
