About The Position

Performs a variety of essential tasks across the window manufacturing process using hand tools, basic machinery, and software‑guided equipment. Ensures units meet company quality and production standards. Maintains safe, efficient, and high‑quality work practices.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to understand English and follow written and verbal instructions.
  • Basic math, reading, and writing skills for measurements and documentation.
  • Ability to identify correct materials, profiles, and components.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate simple machinery and computer interfaces.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality inspection ability.
  • Ability to handle pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and maintain accuracy.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with others and follow direction from supervisors.
  • Willingness to learn and operate multiple machines, trainable for various jobs throughout the plant.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous manufacturing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Glass Offload: Removes hot glass units from conveyors, loads them onto carts, and stages full carts for gassing or the next production step.
  • Glass Dropping & Beading: Inserts raw glass into sashes or frames, applies weatherstripping and caulk, and installs vinyl bead for a finished, sealed unit.
  • Glass Intercept Operator: Forms metal spacer frames using an intercept machine, hangs units onto conveyors, and changes metal coils and sealant barrels.
  • Glass Lidder: Places cleaned glass onto spacer units, builds insulated glass units, and feeds them through the press for sealing.
  • Set Up: Installs subassembly parts into window frames
  • Glass Washer Feeder: Loads cut glass pieces onto washer conveyors and maintains constant feeding to support insulated glass production.
  • Wrapper: Operates wrapping machinery, labels finished units, and stages completed windows and doors for shipment.
  • Performs additional duties as assigned.
