About The Position

We are looking for a Production Leader to oversee and coordinate the responsibilities of Cooks, Bakers, and Salad Makers within our Food & Nutrition Services department. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality food production while maintaining safety and sanitation standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 180 days of culinary experience required
• 3 years of previous food service experience

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate food production team members
• Follow recipes and portion guidelines to prepare food products
• Determine cooking sequence and timing to meet meal-serving hours
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards
• Prepare, cook, and serve food across various outlets and services
• Reduce excess waste and spoilage by optimizing food preparation processes
• Keep accurate records and plan production requirements
• Train and mentor team members to uphold quality and compliance standards
• Maintain reliable attendance in accordance with Orlando Health policies
