About The Position

The Team Lead position in the Production department is responsible for ensuring the timely production of high-quality finished goods while embodying the company's core values. This role involves direct oversight of production processes, equipment maintenance, inventory management, and safety compliance. The Team Lead will work closely with the production team to meet daily targets and ensure adherence to quality standards set by the QC department. Additionally, the Team Lead will provide coaching and training to team members, manage equipment maintenance schedules, and maintain a clean and organized production area.

Requirements

• Minimum Education: High school or equivalent degree.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to work overtime and Saturdays, as needed.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently.
• Forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Champion of Company Core Values.
• Ensure the timely production of high-quality finished goods for manufacturing departments.
• Ensure all products are produced according to company standards and procedures.
• Ensure all products produced/stored are by the policy set by QC department.
• Provide daily production targets for sand production to your team.
• Monitor performance to those targets and take corrective action when necessary.
• Ensure QC is performed in a timely manner.
• Manage process improvement to maximize efficiencies – implement Best Practices.
• Ensure all production plans are met in a timely manner.
• Provide coaching and reviews for all employees under your work area.
• Ensure all employees stay current on training.
• Manage equipment maintenance and schedule repairs.
• Manage PM program and ensure all equipment is maintained properly.
• Responsible for inventory counts of materials within the production area.
• Maintain adequate inventory of all necessary production related supplies.
• Ensure compliance and develop guidelines for efficiency and safety.
• Responsible for production area cleanliness and organization.
• Contribute to team effort by helping with other projects and duties as needed.
