About The Position

Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake is seeking a Production Lead to support day-to-day production activities in a retail store setting. This role partners with the Store Manager to drive production results, maintain quality standards, and support team accountability. A strong opportunity for an experienced associate or supervisor ready to step into hands-on leadership.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (required)
One year of supervisory experience in retail or a related environment OR one year of experience in a Goodwill Industries of the Chesapeake associate role OR one year combination of both
Strong leadership, organization, and time management skills
Ability to communicate clearly and lead a team in a fast-paced setting
Comfort using basic computer systems and POS tools
Full-time schedule
Weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday) is required
Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings and holidays
Reliable transportation required for each scheduled shift

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager in planning and organizing daily production operations
Lead and motivate associates to meet individual and team production goals
Provide hands-on training and coaching to new and existing team members
Monitor workflow, assign tasks, and adjust priorities throughout the day
Ensure merchandise is processed efficiently and meets quality standards
Track production metrics and communicate results to leadership
Promote a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Assist with inventory control and loss prevention efforts
Perform opening and closing duties as assigned
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with donors and shoppers
