About The Position

Alter Trading is looking for someone to assist in the leading the daily operations of our Non Ferrous Recovery Plant (NFR). This role assists a supervisor and is a step into a leadership role. Our NFR locations further process recycled materials to reduce what is sent to the landfills. This shift is Monday through Thursday 5:45pm to 6am with Friday's based on demand.

Requirements

• Must have good communication skills and be a positive team player.
• Leadership experience overseeing daily operations: 1 year

• Manufacturing: 1 Year (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Supports the daily operations of 10-12 employees, and fill in for related supervisor duties during absences
• Ensures employee break schedule is followed
• Capable of learning and performing all job functions of the plant to help cover employee absences
• Rotates employees to ensure coverage
• Ability to operate mobile equipment and fill in as necessary
• Leads the non-maintenance group during unplanned downtime
• Collects and reports data during weigh outs
• Leads the cleaning team during the maintenance cleaning hours
• Performs Other Duties as Assigned
