About The Position

The 2nd Shift Production Lead plays a critical role in supporting daily operations at the Kerry Bethlehem facility. This position provides hands-on leadership across key production areas—including roasting, grinding, extraction, reverse osmosis (RO), blending, and filling—to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality production. The Production Lead acts as the primary support to the 2nd Shift Supervisor, helping guide a team of up to 10 employees. This role requires strong technical knowledge, consistent communication, and the ability to model proper procedures and behaviors. The Lead is expected to uphold safety, quality, and operational standards while fostering a positive and professional work environment.

Requirements

  • Experience in a manufacturing or food production environment, preferably in a lead or senior operator role.
  • Strong technical aptitude and understanding of production processes.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to coach and guide others.
  • Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and procedural compliance.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
  • Basic proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day‑to‑day direction and support to production team members.
  • Oversee production activities to ensure output meets established KPIs and quality standards
  • Model and enforce all safety policies, GMPs, and quality procedures.
  • Utilize SAP for production entries, material movements, and inventory accuracy.
  • Support Supervisor with data collection and reporting of shift performance metrics.
  • Provide coverage for the Supervisor during meetings, trainings, or absences.
  • Attend required trainings or cross-functional meetings outside core hours when necessary.
