About The Position
Action Logistics is looking for a Warehouse Working Lead to join our team.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Knowledge of and familiarity with Excel, Word, Email
Responsibilities
- Responsible for attending and documenting all pre-shift.
- Responsible for following up on discussion points brought up by associates in pre-shift meetings and during day-to-day activities with the production Supervisor and communicating answers back to the associates.
- Responsible for communicating with Customer and other Action Logistics personnel using appropriate communication technique. I.E., email, phone or in person
- Responsible for promoting and enforcing Action Logistics Safety Policy at all times.
- Responsible for overseeing dock area and ensuring those operations personnel are at their assigned work station and performing tasks per specified procedure.
- Responsible for auditing associates on a daily basis.
- Must be proficient in company billing and payroll database data entry.
- Responsible for ensuring that dock area remains orderly and safe.
- Responsible for ensuring that product is loaded or unloaded on trailers according to the policies and procedures of the location.
- Must identify issues in the day-to-day operation and use coaching and if necessary
- Must understand the Action Logistics Quality Management System and its management techniques.
- Responsible for ensuring that associates have the resources necessary to perform their job duties both safely and efficiently.
- Responsible for effectively communicating with customer and strengthening the customer relationship.
- May be responsible for creating and adjusting manpower scheduling as needed.
- The Facility General Manager or Action Logistics Senior Management may modify this job description at any time.
