Lead RE05 B-Shift (Night) RVI-Forest, MS
About The Position
For this B-Shift position the days/hours are as follows: Sunday thru Tuesday 7 pm to 7 am and Wednesday 7 pm to 1 am Thursday Starting Pay $20.35/hr plus a $2.00 shift premium Functions To maintain and promote the Tyson safety culture Receive training as required Perform various positions as required/assigned Description This position is responsible for monitoring production throughout the processing phase and providing training for all new and existing team members while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Applicants will be considered for any production lead opening.
- These openings require standing for long periods of time, lifting up to 50 pounds, shoveling, climbing stairs and ladders up to 60 feet, bending, stretching, reaching, working in extreme hot, cold, inclement weather, and odors.
- Must be able to use basic hand tools and perform basic mechanical and maintenance functions.
- Must be able to read and complete required logs.
- Must be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers via two-way radio.
- May perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
- May be required to operate frontend loader, manlift, or forklift and will be required to obtain certification to do so.
- This position requires documented work experience in multiple areas of a rendering facility.
