About The Position

Total Site Solutions (TSS), Round Rock, TX., seeks a results-driven dynamic Manufacturing Production Lead. As a Manufacturing Lead, you will play a critical role in assisting leadership to oversee and coordinate manufacturing operations to ensure efficiency, quality, and safety standards. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team of production workers, schedule production activities, and execute process improvements to optimize manufacturing processes at the direction of operations management. Additionally, you will need to ensure that the manufacturing operations comply with all safety regulations. You will also monitor the production process to identify and address any issues that may arise and work closely with leadership to provide team members with the necessary resources to ensure continuous production. Overall, your role as a Manufacturing Lead will be to assist TSS leadership in creating a positive work environment that enables quality results and encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a lead-type or coaching role.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively coach and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality management systems, and safety regulations.
• Experience with ERP systems and production planning software.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail, organization, and a proactive approach to maintenance planning and execution.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Punctual with a positive attendance history.
• Comfortable working an assigned shift and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of production workers to achieve production goals and targets.
• Provide guidance, support, and training to ensure team members perform their duties effectively and safely.
• Assist in developing production schedules based on customer demand, inventory levels, and resource availability.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as procurement and logistics, to ensure timely availability of materials and resources.
• Monitor production progress and work with leadership to adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines and customer requirements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives, such as lean manufacturing principles.
• Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify trends, root causes of issues, and areas for improvement.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
• Implement quality control measures to monitor product quality throughout the production process.
• Investigate quality issues, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence of defects.
• Promote a culture of safety awareness and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, identify hazards, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Provide training on safety procedures and ensure adherence to safety protocols by all employees.
