Works in a stock coordinator capacity while providing leadership and support to assigned work team members by creating a motivated, positive, and productive environment to ensure safety, quality, and delivery standards are met. Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications. Communicates with outside sales teams on orders. Ensures understanding of KPI’s to achieve daily goals. Communicates regularly with management about activities of assigned area. Prints, researches, and finalizes customer orders. Works with outside organizations to complete orders. Ensures team members are working safely per Georg Fischer policies and procedures. Follows safety incident management and documentation processes. Posts weights and shipping information on paperwork and SAP. Performs audits for inventory control purposes. Conducts audits of product in staging area, warehouse and pipe yard when necessary. Completes and delivers annual Performance evaluations and established Management Business Objectives (MBOs). Leads and maintains 5S initiatives and standards. Controls movement of orders and sets priority of shipments to be picked, staged and shipped in a timely manner. Conducts investigations of inventory control. Assists with training new team members. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to multitask to ensure priority shipments are shipped within time specified.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Ability to learn technical terms, processes, and piping design vocabulary.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in customer facing warehouse operation to include stocking and order pulling.
  • Lift truck certification (license) or previous experience in safely operating Drexels, order pickers, and lift trucks.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with SAP preferred.
  • Previous leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing setting a plus
