About The Position
As a Production Lead at Cytozyme Laboratories Inc., you will play a crucial role in overseeing the operations at our Salt Lake City production facility. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of dry products and formulations to effectively support our manufacturing processes. You will work closely with the shift supervisor to provide leadership to the dry shift team, ensuring that all operations run smoothly and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include operating essential equipment in the dry manufacturing area, such as milling and packaging machinery, and maintaining a thorough understanding of all dry manufacturing processes and documentation. In this role, you will be responsible for executing the dry manufacturing plan as outlined in the production schedule. You will act on behalf of the Production Supervisor during their absence, assisting in scheduling and maintaining timelines to ensure production readiness. A key aspect of your job will be to lead employees in maintaining clean and safe work areas, filling out daily reports on work status, and addressing any equipment failures. You will also ensure that all employees adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and assist in training new personnel to foster a positive safety culture. Physical demands of the job include the ability to lift up to 55 lbs repeatedly and 75 lbs occasionally, work safely at heights, and comply with safety procedures. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the dry area is accessible and safe for all employees, while maintaining a clean working environment. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and the capacity to handle stressful situations effectively.
