Production Lab Tech - Optical Manufacturing (Finish 1st shift)

We're seeking a production lab tech for our Finish department at our manufacturing facility in Plano, TX. Entry base pay starts at $15.50/hr, plus bi-weekly bonus opportunities. We offer a generous PTO plan and many other benefits. 1st Shift Hours: Mondays-Fridays, 6:00am - 2:30pm Our production lab techs are responsible for efficiently processing job orders. A Finish associate is responsible for performing various assigned tasks in the department.
Requirements
- No specific education required
- No specific experience is required, but prior optical experience is a plus
- Must be able to read and write English

Responsibilities
- Primary responsibility will involve coating and tinting lenses to the specified color for each job
- Sorting job trays, organizing jobs and scanning barcodes
- May assist in other department areas such as mounting, edging or shipping
