About The Position

Production Lab Techs help expedite job orders throughout the manufacturing process in a timely and efficient manner in order to serve our customers. This role involves operating the optical edger equipment efficiently, handling rejects, errors and other delays to resolve issues, monitoring job status and ensuring older, rush and hot jobs are prioritized correctly, RF scanning and observing data on job trays, working with other associates in the lab, specifically the Finish Department, to make certain jobs are moved according to processes and quickly to the Finish team to finalize orders, following all SOPs, safety guidelines and meeting production expectations, and handling any other tasks that may be assigned.

Requirements

• No specific education required
• Prior optical production with minimum 6 months relevant experience
• Must be able to read and write English

Responsibilities

• Operating the optical edger equipment efficiently
