The Production Integration Operations Manager at L3Harris Technologies is responsible for overseeing the safety, cost, quality, delivery, and productivity of systems integration teams. This role involves optimizing material flow, equipment, and manpower to meet daily business objectives while driving continuous improvement and waste reduction in the manufacturing process.

  • Act as Control Account Manager (CAM) for program execution.
  • Track, monitor, and report program execution performance utilizing Earned Value Management principles and tools.
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to Production Supervisors, Group Leaders, and team members.
  • Assist in developing the production build plan and oversee its daily execution.
  • Ensure all deliveries are completed on schedule.
  • Monitor daily throughput and address any shortfalls to the production plan.
  • Define and hold teams accountable for production KPIs: safety, quality, delivery, cost, etc.
  • Monitor all inventory in WIP and ensure supply is sufficient to meet the plan.
  • Participate in regular material planning meetings and inform management of material shortfalls.
  • Ensure effective communication of shift activities by Production Supervisors to team members.
  • Review Daily Management Boards and lead daily production standups and meetings.
  • Communicate goals and objectives to subordinates and assist in developing effective production plans.
  • Assure conformance to product specifications and work instructions.
  • Lead yield improvement activities and drive measures to improve production methods and quality using Lean Manufacturing Principles.
  • Drive advanced data collection and analysis for process mapping and cost reduction opportunities.
  • Perform staffing requirement evaluations and resolve any deficiencies or excesses.
  • Conduct periodic assessments of work areas for safety and cleanliness.
  • Lead team in Safety, 5S, ESD, and FOD protocols.
  • Create and support implementation of cross-training initiatives.
  • Enforce the use and maintenance of work instructions, routers, logs, and company procedures.
  • Provide daily, weekly, and monthly status reports as required.
  • Create and present monthly product and program presentations.
  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years prior related experience or a Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and MS Office.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent customer service and people skills.
  • Airframe and Powerplant certificate.
  • Proficient in utilizing MRP and MES systems (SAP and Solumina).
  • Knowledge of project management tools for resource planning, scheduling, and cost monitoring.
  • Experience integrating EO/IR and Communications systems on aircraft.
  • Knowledge in the integration and test of electronic components or systems on aircraft.
