About The Position

We're seeking an energetic, well-organized candidate with great communication skills to join our fast-paced and fast-growing sign company in the West Loop of Chicago. A high sense of urgency and previous sign shop production experience are required. This candidate is responsible for all aspects of the physical production and installation of signs.

Responsibilities

Have the ability to produce signs using details from the Point-of-Sale system
Place vinyl graphics on a predetermined substrate
Prepare/clean substrates for vinyl application, cutting, engraving, lasering, painting, and/or laminating
Weed out excess vinyl from plotter-generated graphics
Perform installations as required – Be efficient, but more importantly, SAFE
Help unload and store raw materials; clean and maintain storage areas
Report low inventory levels and stock to the production manager
Work on multiple projects simultaneously
Perform quality assurance measures pre- and post-production by accurately reading and interpreting a Work Order
Perform quality assurance measures for errors or unacceptable quality standards
Communicate with other employees and customers in a calm and professional manner
Perform routine machine maintenance and minor repairs when necessary
Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes
A valid driver’s license is required
