About The Position

A Production II associate at SanMar is responsible for multiple duties within a distribution center warehouse environment. Key responsibilities include quickly and accurately picking products from designated locations, restocking inventory, and inspecting and auditing outbound customer orders for accuracy and compliance before sealing and directing them for invoicing and shipping. The role requires operating voice or Radio Frequency units and maintaining equipment. Associates are expected to meet minimum production and accuracy standards and adhere to delivery deadlines. Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience supporting warehouse activities
• Ability to read, write and have sufficient ability to identify colors, sizes, quantity, label and SKU information
• Basic math skills in counting and quantity required
• Demonstrated ability to follow directions and change priorities or job duties as business needs require
• Ability to work in fast-paced, high-volume environment while meeting deadlines
• Ability to work both independently and within a team
• Strong attention to details
• Comprehend verbal and written instructions
• Regular and prompt attendance

Responsibilities

• Quickly and accurately pick product from designated locations and either place into cartons on a pre-built pick cart, or into totes as directed by the hand-scanner
• Restock product into designated locations
• Inspect and audit outbound customer orders for accuracy and compliance, seal orders, and direct all completed orders to be invoiced and shipped
• Operate a voice or Radio Frequency unit
• Responsible for checking out equipment and returning it in same condition
• Meet minimum production and accuracy standards and delivery deadlines
