About The Position
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. The position involves monitoring, cleaning, and inspecting plant production equipment to ensure proper operation, performing regular visual inspections of all product streams, and reporting any issues with equipment and/or process to the supervisor. Additionally, the role requires assisting other teammates as needed and keeping the area and walkways clean and organized, free of debris and obstacles.
