Requirements

• Ability to work safely.
• Ability to understand/communicate English in oral and written form.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability and willingness to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• Ability to work a PM shift.
• Ability to wear all PPE (personal protective equipment, such as safety glasses, hearing protection and steel toed shoes).

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Line Tech.
• Perform numerous tasks as the Line Tech sees fit.
• Pay attention to the roll quality as rolls are put on the skid.
• Learn the film manufacturing process, as well as safety and quality issues.
• Work as a team player with the rest of the crew and other employees.
• Work safely and professionally around all moving equipment.
• Take rolls off of spindle, check roll edge quality, and properly stack rolls onto skid.
• Load and align cores properly onto the spindle.
• Assist in weight check procedure.
• Perform daily and weekly cleaning procedures in a timely manner.
• Wrap pallets properly on a daily basis.
• Assist Line Tech on start up and shut down, on changing screens, and cleaning die.
• Wear all personal protective equipment.
• Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
