Duties include supplying or holding materials or tools, and cleaning work area and equipment. Work alongside diesel mechanics and assist them holding tools and parts while repairs are being made to different construction equipment. Clean equipment and work areas. DAILY TRAVEL TO VARIOUS JOB SITES LOCATED IN Thomas, Sheridan, Graham, Rawlins, Cheyenne, Decatur, Sherman, Wallace, Logan, Gove, Trego, Norton, Greeley, Wichita, Scott , Lane and Ness counties in Kansas. ABLE TO LIFT AND CARRY 50 POUNDS. SOME OT AND WEEKENDS REQUIRED. 8 HOUR WORKDAY .EMPLOYER WILL PROVIDE safety and MSHA training. Hours may vary from 7 am to 7 pm. 8 hour work shift. OPTIONAL EMPLOYER OWNED HOUSING $115.00 PER WEEK/ $230.00 PER PAY PERIOD. HEALTH , DENTAL, VISION , LIFE, DISABILITY INSURANCE (DEDUCTION DEPENDS ON PLAN SELECTED). PAID HOLIDAYS. Workers are responsible for transportation to the designated pick up location in Colby, KS , Transportation to and from worksites will be provided from Colby, KS , No exp /NO edu. req’d. 40hr/wk. Mon-Fri, 7am-7:00pm, $13.51 hr OT $20.27/hr , Single workweek computation, Pd biweekly by check. All payroll deductions taken, required by law. Merit based raises available at employer discretion. Onsite training and tools, supplies, equip. provided to perform job, w/o charge. Job order is being placed in connection with future filing for H2B labor certification. Must be eligible within the USA and available entire work period. If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse worker for transportation & subsidence (including meals &, to the extent necessary lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment. Upon completion of work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or if employer has appropriately reported a workers voluntary abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Employer agrees to offer work for at least ¾ of the work days in each 12 week period of total employment period.Daily meals will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28 per /day during travel to a maximum of $68.00 p/day with receipts. Workers will be reimbursed in the first workweek for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other related fees, including those mandated by the government (excluding passport fees).
