Leadership responsibility for the Inflator Production Operations for the off shift (2nd - 2:00pm -10:30pm).

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Operations Management or related field preferred or equivalent experience
6-8 plus years of progressive/related experience along with five years of leadership experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Must be able to meet all environmental standards.
Must have hand dexterity at moderate speed with accuracy for half of each day.
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Must be able to provide steady, active effort with continuous walking.
Some areas require respirator certification.
ZF-Lifetec Mesa Operations screening process includes a substance abuse screening test, ATF lifetime background check, and verification of eligibility for employment.
U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status Required.

Responsibilities

Disciplinary leadership of the production in the process group (supervisors and team leads)
Leading the Production Group Team
Responsible for leadership and mentoring of the production unit (All resources assigned to the Production Unit)
Responsible for assigning resources aligned with daily priorities.
Responsible safety and quality across the production unit.
Driving continuous process improvement and supporting safety/environmental goals.
Responsible to facilitate all safety incident investigations
Responsible to ensure product is ready for shipment
Drive production group to achieve identified KPI’s
Developmental tasks or promoting growth at all levels of the organization. Operators, technical resources, etc.
Primary responsibility for ensuring production and financial commitments are met.
Provides necessary support, training, and development of front-line leaders.
Provides long-range planning and formulating business strategies.
Demonstrates strong manufacturing and business knowledge.
May act as backup for Production Unit Lead as needed.
