About The Position

Work Performed: + Sets up and operates internal, centerless, surface, external, thread and universal grinders for production, experimental, and tool work. + Must be able and is required to perform any type of difficult grinding work on any and all types grinders. + Grinds steps, tapers, recesses, shoulders, angles, contours and threads. + Must be able to set up truing devices on thread grinding for various types and forms of threads. + Selects proper speeds, feeds, and wheels. Holds work to required tolerances. + Setups are exacting, usually requiring firm and accurately set fixtures, rests or blocks.

Requirements

• Three years of production grinding experience including setup.
• This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). All applicants must beU.S.persons within the meaning of ITAR. ITAR defines aU.S.person as a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (i.e. 'Green Card Holder'), Political Asylee, or Refugee.
