Production Forklift Operator - Overnight Shift

About The Position

DeLallo is seeking candidates for a Forklift Operator on the Overnight Shift for our production facility. Primary responsibilities of this role is the use of a stand-up fork lift and other equipment to move food ingredients and packaged finished goods through the facility and to assist in the production process as needed. This is a full-time position. Schedule: Sunday through Thursday: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM: weekends and overtime, as needed.

Requirements

Willingness and ability to work with products that may contain gluten, cheese, tree nuts and other food allergens
Must be able to obtain a forklift certification and also pass a Safe Food assessment
Demonstrate a high attention to detail
Willingness to wear company issued uniform, safety shoes, and PPE as required
Ability to frequently bend, reach, twist, pull, push, and stoop
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time
Ability to work in refrigerated work environment
Ability to work successfully in a team environment with all personality types
High School diploma or equivalent
Ability to pass drug test and background check

Responsibilities

Safely operate a stand-up forklift to move ingredients and finished goods
Assist in the daily set-up and operation of the equipment as the production schedule dictates
Maintain a steady pace and adjust as needed to match production speed requirements
Assist with all production responsibilities, as needed
Maintain proper levels of supplies to line and proper flow of product through various packaging stages
Stack product or boxes of product on pallets
Pick and return items to inventory accurately
After completion of production run, clean and sanitize equipment and work area
All other tasks as assigned or required
