About The Position

• Operate a Forklift in a safe and responsible manner. • Read and understand all operational and safety rules and guidelines provided during forklift license training. • Operate both fork and clamp attachments. • Transport finished goods and raw materials as directed. • Load and unload semi-trailers and complete/assist with the necessary paperwork and communications as directed. • Understand and use all scanning equipment required to perform job. • Maintain and update status of inventory information through scans, written or logged as necessary. • Lift and carry containers as needed. • Lift and carry packaging such as pallets, shrink wrap, etc as needed. • Communicate in a professional manner with supervisor, coordinators & co-workers as necessary. • Assist other departments as needed. • Perform other duties as directed. • Evaluates and takes appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment with established standards and guidelines. • Inspect work areas, and look for unsafe acts/conditions. • Effectively use verbal and written communications. • Maintain a clean and safe working environment. • Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary. • Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift.
• Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching and twisting.
• Obtain or be able to obtain a Forklift Driver’s License.
• This position requires the cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
