About The Position

TSC is seeking a Production Foreman to support one of our Huntsville, AL locations. Responsibilities to Anticipate: Oversee complex electromechanical assembly production line, ensuring goals are met Report to Production Manager and collaborate with the Engineering transition team Work Closely with management and cross-functional teams (engineering quality, finance, security and planning) Lead problem-solving, root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives Ensure compliance with safety, quality and procedural standards. Support process improvements, production scheduling, sequencing and innovation efforts Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration or related field, or Associate’s degree with 2 years equivalent experience OR 6-8 years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • US Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
  • Experience working in manufacturing or production environment
  • Quality management systems experience (AS9100 preferred)
  • IPC 610/J-STD certified

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years experience in an electronics manufacturing environment with increasing responsibility including direct management of people
  • Electronic Experience, specifically in RF Applications
  • Experience with ERP systems
  • Experience with establishing scope of work and writing technical and non-technical programmatic documentation, including but not limited to assembly procedures, drawing trees, and Bills of Materials
  • A good balance between a resourceful team-player and the ability to be extremely effective independently
  • Ability to communicate professionally with people at all levels of the organization and external contacts
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on innovative and creative solutions that result in early delivery and lower costs
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point), and Adobe
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
