About The Position

The role is responsible for supervising and executing work activities relating to our Diamond Seal Technology (DST) coating operation, facilities and materials logistics. At a high level, this includes direct supervision of hourly DST operators, team leads and materials personnel while ensuring adherence to daily production schedule, delivery and quality requirements. The position of Production Floor Manager is expected to commence on February 16, 2026 (“Start Date”) and is anticipated to last 12 months. When the project ends, employment will be terminated.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstration of success in prior leadership positions.
  • Aggressive in goal-setting and overall approach to leadership.
  • Ability to problem solve with minimal guidance and clearly communicate resolution to issues.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong sense of time organization, prioritization, and works with a sense of urgency
  • Self-disciplined, possesses the ability to initiate work with little to no prompting.
  • Familiarity and comfort with using basic tools to perform system maintenance work
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in lean manufacturing environment preferred
  • Experience working with materials and manufacturing planning teams preferred
  • Must be authorized to work in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Supervision of DST operators and team leads in their performance of; loading/unloading component fixtures for coating and washing processes, as well as preparation for shipment of finished goods.
  • Ensure adherence to daily production schedule, providing real-time support and problem-solving to any potential interruptions (maintenance issues, quality findings, personnel-related items, etc.)
  • Perform training and onboarding concerning new DST employees.
  • Work alongside operators to achieve daily production plans, if necessary.
  • Perform receiving inspection of incoming raw materials flagged in our ERP system.
  • Perform various transactions in ERP system related to inventory management, i.e. scrap transactions, finished goods creation, raw material to work-in-progress, etc.
  • Addressing issues that arise in the building that affect safety and workspace effectiveness.
  • Coordinating with outside vendors that provide facilities services, ensuring work is completed in a satisfactory manner.
  • Supervision of Shipping & Receiving staff and providing backup & support for all functions related to materials management
  • Assist with warehouse & inventory management
  • Promote a culture of dedication to safety of our employees, and commitment to meeting the customer’s quality expectations.
  • Communicate production performance to management team using Daily Management practices to provide accountability on key metrics important to the business.
  • Perform scheduled cycle counts pertaining to both raw material and finished goods within DST department and participate in any potential follow-up investigation regarding any findings.
  • Provide hands-on support related to changeovers in DST Department.
  • Allocation of resources to ensure schedule adherence and meeting of customer deadlines.
  • Management of material flow between raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area.
  • All other duties as assigned.
