About The Position

Ford Office Technologies is growing, and we are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Production Field Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair high-volume production copiers and print systems at customer locations. This role requires strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced field environment. Install, configure, and support high-volume production copiers and digital print systems. Perform preventative maintenance and routine service calls. Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and networking issues. Replace parts, components, and consumables as needed. Calibrate and optimize equipment for peak performance. Provide operator training and basic troubleshooting guidance to clients. Maintain accurate service records and documentation. Manage parts inventory and company-provided tools. Respond promptly to service requests within assigned territory.

Requirements

  • 2+ years' experience preferred servicing production equipment such as Canon, Ricoh, Konica Minolta or Kyocera copiers, MFPs, or production print equipment.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP, print drivers, scanning setup).
  • Ability to read service manuals and schematics.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various on-site environments.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
