About The Position

The Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) team is seeking Production Engineering - Phantom Works Tooling Engineer located in Berkeley, MO. Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
  • 2+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor's or work related engineering experience with a Master's (Level 3)
  • 5+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor's or 3+ years of work related engineering experience with a Master's or work related engineering experience with a PhD (Level 4)
  • 9+ years of work related engineering experience with a Bachelor's or 7+ years of work related engineering experience with a Master's or 4+ years of work related engineering experience with a PhD

Responsibilities

  • Support the evaluation of program and project requirements, develops moderately complex equipment and tooling concepts and designs solutions for the Production System
  • Compile and analyze technical data to determine the effects on product engineering design and rate estimates for equipment and tooling
  • Ensures compliance with safety, producibility, maintainability, reliability, ergonomic factors and regulatory requirements
  • Validate contractual performance milestones, maintains configuration control, conducts reviews, prepares plans for productions readiness, preventative maintenance, and spares
  • Conduct training for Production and Maintenance personnel
  • Develop and implement moderately complex work-arounds and maintains configuration of hardware, software and documentation
  • Support studies for disposition of assets
