Fervo is working to build the most cost-effective, repeatable geothermal power plants in the world. Delivering on this mission requires operational excellence across every function — including the production engineering systems, workflows, and technical standards that ensure our geothermal assets operate safely, reliably, and efficiently as we scale. Joining Fervo as a Production Engineering Manager means owning the performance and integrity of the geothermal wells and production system, translating real-time data into operational insight, and embedding technical rigor into day-to-day optimization. This role is ideal for an experienced production engineer who is deeply aligned with Fervo's mission, brings strong well and system engineering expertise, and is motivated to build scalable, best-in-class production engineering practices. DESCRIPTION Fervo Energy is hiring a Production Engineering Manager to lead production engineering activities across one or more of Fervo's operating geothermal assets. This role is the technical authority for the wells and well system, accountable for performance, integrity, and long-term reliability from handover through steady-state operations. Partnering closely with plant management, you will optimize plant performance by maximizing well delivery, availability, and operability. You will establish surveillance, diagnostics, and data acquisition/analysis programs with the Resource team (reservoir engineering and geology) to improve forecasting and operating strategy. You will integrate across Drilling and Completions to feed operating learnings into future well designs, operating envelopes, and collaborate on intervention/workover plans.
