The Boeing Company is seeking a self-motivated Production Engineering Manager to lead the Equipment and Tooling engineering team for the Interiors Responsibility Center in North Charleston, SC. The IRCSC Equipment & Tooling engineering team is responsible for the design and fabrication of the tools, assembly jigs, shop hardware and assets required by the IRCSC operations teammates to build 787 furnishings assemblies. The team is also responsible for the acquire and modify tasks associated with large assets within the IRCSC as well as partnering with other organizations to support maintenance and repair actions for these assets. The ideal candidate would have a deep internal desire to improve the production system, familiarity with aircraft interior design and/or fabrication, be able to manage multiple competing deadlines, and experience leading teams to achieve organizational objectives.
