The intern will play an active role in enhancing safety, quality, and production efficiency. With safety as a core value, the intern will engage in daily problem-solving and lead initiatives that improve operational reliability. This role also provides exposure to capital projects and cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
  • Familiarity with maintenance tools, fabrication techniques, and equipment components.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AutoCAD and Minitab.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Strong interest in manufacturing operations and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement preventative maintenance procedures to enhance equipment longevity.
  • Identify and execute improvements in equipment and process reliability.
  • Promote site safety by assessing risks, recommending solutions, and supporting safety initiatives that protect team members and assets.
  • Create and update technical documentation for equipment and processes.
  • Analyze production workflows to identify inefficiencies and reduce waste, supporting lean manufacturing goals.
