Requirements

  • Completion of at least two years of full-time enrollment (minimum 12 credit hours per semester) in a Bachelor’s degree program in Engineering or equivalent
  • Must be currently enrolled as a fulltime student at an accredited four-year college or university
  • Basic knowledge of project management processes and tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to write and communicate technical information clearly and concisely
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
  • Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Minimum 3.2 GPA
  • Must have completed a minimum of 2 years at an accredited university
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis at the time the internship begins and must not require sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H-1B, O-1, TN, L-1, or other employment-based visas) to participate in the program or for a fulltime role after graduation. This position is not eligible for employer-sponsored work authorization.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzing production defects, root cause analysis, process improvement projects and KPI reporting
  • Working with an international team and language translators may be required
  • Reads all SDS' and possesses thorough knowledge of all oil and chemical labeling
  • Ability to analyze, estimate workload and perform multi-tasking
  • Assist Maintenance Technicians in preventative maintenance procedures
  • Monitors processes and performs continuous image inspections and visual quality checks of the products to ensure acceptance standards are met
  • Ability to use material bar code scanners
  • Understanding of First in, First out (FIFO)
  • Be able to follow work instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
  • Prepares documentation as required
  • Maintains a clean and safe work area 5s
  • Excellent communication with co-workers both verbally and with good written skills
  • Analyze and assist quality and quality department
  • Be able to read and diagnose error codes
  • Adaptability to work in many processes to assist as decided by management
