About the position

The position at Delhi Skyline involves working as part of a team with servers, cashiers, management, and kitchen staff. The role requires complete knowledge of food portions, understanding food calling procedures, and managing food rotation effectively. Employees must maintain cleanliness and organization in food preparation areas and ensure customer satisfaction through excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Work as a team with the rest of your crew (servers, cashiers, management, kitchen).
  • Have complete knowledge of portions for all food items.
  • Understand how to call food and pull plates.
  • Only pull or make food that is rung in on a ticket.
  • Understand the walk-in food rotation and the location of items/stock.
  • Keep talking between employees to a bare minimum.
  • During downtime/slow periods, wipe down Steam-Table, sweep the floor, fill cheese pans, and fill chili.
  • During rushes, keep an eye on cheese pans on the table and grab more if they are close to empty.
  • Always be aware of Drive Thru times.
  • Wash hands each time you change tasks.
  • Fully stock Steam-Table and walk-in prep at the end of the shift.
  • Check and stock/clean bathrooms after every shift.
  • No food or drink is to be consumed around Steam-Table, server station, food prep areas, or carry out stations.
