About The Position

The production coordinator will support production for our stock and cut to order business. This role will work closely and liaise between vendors, design, product development, and sales. The primary functions of this role include cost negotiations, setting up styles, creating and managing orders, as well as meeting other goals.

Requirements

2-5 years’ experience
Highly organized and detail oriented
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and multi-task
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Analytical with strong mathematical skills
Understanding of product development and production process
Knowledge of line plans, time & action calendars, and WIP reports

Nice To Haves

ERP and PLM experience a plus

Responsibilities

Communicate and follow up with overseas vendors daily.
Send stock and customer inquiries to vendors.
Request pricing from vendors.
Negotiate costs and calculate landed costs to check margins.
Liaise between sales and production for special customer inquiries i.e., testing, packing requirements, warehouse destination.
Help ensure on time deliveries.
Achieve deadlines set forth in the production calendar by season.
Create and maintain work in progress charts as needed.
Manage master charts by brand with all style info.
Style master setup and maintenance.
Purchase order entry.
Determine the proper HTS codes for all products.
Follow up, review, and maintain test reports.
Onboard new customers and ensure we remain compliant throughout the production process.
Request estimated carton dimensions and CBMs from vendors and submit to compliance to be uploaded into our ERP site.
Monitor orders and manage master booking charts for all open orders up until a shipment is arranged.
Troubleshoot any container space issues with the Gina Import team.
Analyze and assess delay request forms from overseas offices and factories. Check sales orders effected and communicated updated due date to sales.
