About The Position

The Production Coordinator supports daily production operations to ensure safe, high-quality food while meeting daily and weekly production demands. This role works closely with the Production Manager to help coordinate production activities, support and guide production associates, and maintain strong standards for quality, sanitation, and safety. The Production Coordinator plays a key role in keeping our production floor running smoothly. You’ll help coordinate people, processes, and product while leading by example in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Requirements

Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or a similar fast-paced environment.
Ability to work effectively and train on all production stations.
Positive, personable, and team-oriented mindset.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and support others in the moment.
Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced production environment.

Responsibilities

Support the Production Manager with daily production coordination, including labor scheduling, opening and closing assigned production areas, managing par levels, overseeing inventory, and maintaining quality standards.
Ensure all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) are consistently followed.
Maintain documentation related to corrective actions and Sanitation Standard Operating Procedures (SSOPs).
Facilitate daily and bi-weekly production meetings focused on quality, sanitation, GMPs, and overall team performance.
Lead sanitation processes for assigned areas while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Ensure compliance with all City and FDA health code regulations and required documentation.
Identify opportunities for improvement and communicate them to the Production Manager.
Provide hands-on, in-the-moment coaching and training to production team members.
