The Production Coordinator is responsible for production scheduling, building specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), and ensuring on-time delivery. This role involves maintaining the build schedule, communicating production requirements to the purchasing department, and reviewing sales quotes to maintain build schedules based on specific customer specifications. The Production Coordinator will establish build dates and layout dates to achieve on-time delivery, select and input customer options into the operating system to create the MRP bill of material, and coordinate new part number setup and descriptions with engineering, purchasing, and accounting departments. Additionally, the role includes preparing reports and production schedules for distribution and performing any other related duties as required.
