The mission of this position is to provide the leadership necessary to promote teamwork and continuous improvement. The role involves assisting with budget items, shipments, process control issues, and cross-training. The principal accountabilities include prioritizing work and shift setup according to throughput requirements, participating in staffing projections, facilitating scheduling of team overtime and vacation, handling first line performance issues, and training employees on new skills. The position also requires coordination of resources to meet daily throughput and support outside departments while maintaining a harassment/discrimination-free environment. Additionally, the role involves process control, measurements, planning, and interfacing with customers and other departments.
