About The Position

Rescue is a full-service marketing agency with a mission to make healthy behaviors easier and more appealing. Since our founding in 2001, Rescue has been exclusively focused on researching, developing, and implementing positive social change campaigns in public health. We provide research, strategy, creative, production, web, traditional media, social media, policy change, youth engagement and experiential marketing services to government, non-profit, and healthcare clients in over 35 states and provinces, as well as to federal government agencies. Rescue’s health behavior change marketing campaigns focus on topics such as tobacco, obesity, substance and alcohol prevention; the promotion of exercise, eating healthy foods, early childhood development, and after school programs; and other topics that promote healthy living. Rescue’s behavior change campaigns focus on diverse populations within teen (13 - 17), young adult (18 - 26), and adult (18+) populations in both rural and urban areas, resulting in a wide variety of campaign styles and strategies. The Job We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Production Coordinator II to support producers and the production team. The ideal candidate has a passion for behavior change, a history of creative problem-solving, and is capable of handling multiple tasks at the same time.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or higher education.
  • Producer or Production Coordinator experience with video and still photo productions.
  • Experience with production budgets.
  • Time and task management skills.
  • Ability to maintain multiple projects and timelines.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience with contracts and negotiations.
  • Familiarity with: treatments, storyboards, scripts, releases, purchase orders, call sheets, booking crews and equipment, coordinating travel, permitting, scheduling, writing budgets, distributing call sheets, handling insurance requirements, and production and post-production scheduling.
  • Strong skills with Word, Excel, Google Docs, as well as the ability to use a variety of Mac software.
  • Reliable access to transportation and a willingness to travel as required within the greater San Diego area.
  • Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check will be required prior to the start of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Agency Producers with the coordination of video, photo, and radio productions.
  • Regularly update all shooting and post production calendars.
  • Input cast and crew information into payroll vendor website.
  • Collect and process vendor payments.
  • Create cast and location decks.
  • Assist with creation and distribution of call sheets.
  • Coordinate with Talent and agents for wardrobe requirements.
  • General support of Agency Producers in preproduction, production, and post production.
