About The Position

The Buffet Production Cook is responsible for preparing, cooking, and presenting food items according to established recipes, portion standards, and quality expectations. Working in a high‑volume buffet environment, this position ensures food is consistently fresh, properly stored, and ready for service. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail‑oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean, safe, and friendly kitchen environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1 year of related kitchen experience (buffet or high‑volume preferred)
  • Ability to obtain a food handler’s card
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
  • Comfortable working in a casino environment with exposure to noise and second‑hand smoke

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook food items for buffet service
  • Follow all recipe, portioning, cooking, and presentation standards
  • Ensure food quality, freshness, and proper storage to prevent waste
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas, equipment, and tools
  • Support a Fun, Friendly, Quick, Comfortable, Clean, and Safe environment
  • Follow Chef instructions for daily production quantities
