We are looking for you to join our team as a Production Controller based out of San Diego, CA. This position will be onsite daily on 1st shift 9/80 schedule.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience in manufacturing or similar
  • Experience with Material Expediting
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security Clearance
  • Ability to obtain SAP access
  • US Citizenship required

Nice To Haves

  • Secret Security Clearance
  • Experienced with SAP/S4Hana

Responsibilities

  • Tracks inventory levels and monitors inventory in WIP, On-Hold, MRB & In-Inspection locations
  • Works with material planning to ensure materials are ordered in time to support Scheduling & Operations needs
  • Work closely with Shop Floor Supervisors for optimized WIP Flow
  • Issues scrapped and OBS material through MRP/ERP systems
  • Processes Parts Replacement Requisition
  • Higher Level Work Order Releases
  • Scrap Material Handler
  • Delivers hardware to next step
  • Problem solving and research
  • Receive in Sustainment Modules and move into WIP for repairs
  • Position requires 80% of time on shop floor coordinating and controlling product flow and 20% of time updating systems to ensure accurate records in systems
  • This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying, lifting up to 35 pounds and working overhead
  • Ideal candidate is a team player and works well at multitasking
