IDEAL ELECTRIC COMPANY, an American-owned electric motor and generator manufacturer, is seeking a talented Production Control associate to join our on-site team in Mansfield, Ohio. Reporting to the VP of Operations, the Production Control position plays an integral role in the introduction of orders to the manufacturing team, including the creation of bills of materials and purchasing related activities. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or certified equivalent, and/or education obtained through a tech school, college, or related courses
  • Experience in a position requiring excellent communication skills and exceptional attention to detail, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within required deadlines
  • Technical literacy with proficiency in the Microsoft Office 365 suite
  • obtain and maintain a valid passport and US-issued driver's license
  • maintain a driving record that is acceptable for coverage under the company's insurance plan

Nice To Haves

  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Experience working with, and building relationships with, vendors in a B2B environment
  • experience with ERP systems is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Identify and establish vendors
  • Purchase products, materials, and component parts
  • Outsource services required for the manufacturing process
  • Record activities in company's ERP system and other records maintenance platforms as required
  • Create BOMs (bills of materials)
  • Issue routings to the manufacturing/production floor
  • Maintain MRO system
  • Communicate, and collaborate closely with Engineering and Production team members
