About The Position
The Production Control Coordinator is responsible for verifying part numbers, organizing materials, maintaining stock bins, and managing Kanban levels. This role involves transporting materials, delivering kits and shortages, maintaining lot control, and adjusting inventory levels as needed. The coordinator must adhere to cycle count processes, inspect operations, perform housekeeping duties, manage work to-do lists, and utilize operations reports to optimize workflow. Collaboration with production supervisors and a strong understanding of material flow and shop-floor layout are essential. The position typically reports to a supervisor.
