The Production Control Clerk is responsible for compiling and recording production data to prepare records and reports on the volume of production, consumption of raw materials, and other aspects of production. This role involves ensuring that all production reporting is completed daily and tracking and updating manufacturing reports on a routine basis. The clerk must ensure that all supporting services and materials, such as work orders, labels, and documents, are provided to manufacturing in the appropriate time frame. Additionally, the clerk is responsible for filing and storing production records to comply with company procedures, creating packaging specifications, and retrieving approvals as necessary. The role also includes generating and issuing production work orders, maintaining and issuing production performance reports to the head of manufacturing, and ensuring the accuracy of production packaging specifications.
