About The Position

The purpose of this role is to provide flexible, cross-functional support for operational readiness, receiving, and material product flow across all departments. This position ensures accurate receipt and organization of materials, prepares shipments, and sets up work areas to enable efficient production.

Requirements

• US work authorization
• High school diploma or equivalent work experience
• Forklift certified
• Basic math and computer skills: Microsoft Office 365
• Able to lift 50lbs
• Use of quality inspection tools (i.e., calipers, gauges, tape measure, etc.)
• Ability to cross train for all workstations
• Able to follow directives set forth from team lead and/or management
• Excellent communication skills (verbal & written)
• Vista Core Competencies Essential attributes: Attention to detail, flexible, ambitious

Nice To Haves

• Plastics extrusion experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Work in Fabrication or Extrusion to assemble parts manually and/or by machine
• Read, understand, and follow job orders, BOM’s, specifications and narrations as outlined on job orders
• Check parts frequently per quality control plan/set-up sheet/work instructions per conformance to specifications to identify defects
• Prepare products for shipping, including but not limited to pulling, wrapping, labelling, and delivery
• Assist with inventory management (cycle counting, inventory movements, and warehouse organization)
• Use the functions of our ERP software as it relates to production, inventory, and receiving. Specifically: Creation of work orders Work order posting/kitting and data tracking Creation of packing slips
• Fabrication operational readiness, which may include the following as needed: Able to prepare all work centers Able to produce parts in Fabrication Assist in training employees in Fabrication as needed
• Extrusion operational readiness, which may include the following as needed: Assist in set up and tear down of extruder, tooling, and downstream equipment as directed by Team Lead Run an extrusion line for a whole day or part of a day as directed by Team Lead Assist breaks as directed by Management Assist in running the Regrind area
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area
• Continuously improving processes for high quality and efficient production
• Follow all requirements to support Vista Quality Objectives
• If deficient in any area of responsibility, appropriate training will be implemented, and successful completion evaluated.
