About The Position

Plan and maintain inventory levels of assigned parts within established inventory policies and targets Coordinates the flow of parts between supply base and responsible KNA plant Analyzes forecast demand to plan inventory requirements and releases material orders to meet appropriate inventory targets and support manufacturing processes Expedite material as necessary to meet changing requirements; escalate issues as necessary to ensure customer requirements are met Confers with production personnel to clarify processing methods Edits source data to ensure conformance to pre-determined standards and identifies appropriate errors for review and resolution Responsible for processing requisitions, material release, tracking back orders and maintaining current product information files Support the implementation, achievement, and maintenance of the Quality and Environmental Policies Authorities for an employee are granted by means of work instructions, policies and procedures and/or direction provided by management to meet the requirements of the customer This job operates in an office and manufacturing environment, and routinely uses standard office equipment. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. The employee may also be required to work in hot temperatures. Requirements

  • High School Education or GED with either two (2) years College or 1-2 years Procurement experience
  • Two (2) years related work experience preferred
  • Ability to exhibit organizational, interpersonal and mathematical skill level sets to successfully meet the requirements and expectations of this position
  • Familiarity with related software applications, ie MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint...etc
  • Ability to travel as required
