About The Position

The incumbent is responsible for providing clerical and administrative support for the Production department. This includes understanding the Food Safety Statement, completing required training, and performing work assignments in accordance with training while displaying an acceptable level of competency with all Quality Assurance/Safety/Security policies and training requirements. Areas of food safety training will include, but are not limited to, GMP, HACCP, Food Safety and Quality Statement, FSSC 22000/Global Food Safety Policy/Food Safety Goals, Visitor/Food/Site Security, Emergency Preparedness, and Blood borne Pathogens. The individual must also request additional and/or refresher training if needed to effectively perform requirements in specific areas of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Understanding of Food Safety Statement and related policies.
  • Completion of required food safety training.
  • Competency in Quality Assurance/Safety/Security policies.
  • Ability to manage temporary labor force and communicate effectively with HR.
  • Proficiency in data input and reporting using Micro Strategy database.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a production environment.
  • Familiarity with GMP and HACCP standards.
  • Previous experience in clerical or administrative roles.

Responsibilities

  • Manage Temporary Labor Force: placing temp orders with Human Resources, maintain backup timekeeping documentation, communication between Human Resources and production management.
  • Input of production data into Micro Strategy database and any other requested reporting.
  • Maintaining and updating communication board.
  • Facilitate and participate with necessary training of production employees and maintain training records.
  • Assist department managers with reports for back tracking and forward tracking.
  • Maintain Paid Time Off schedule for union employees.
  • Maintain production labor matrix.
  • Coordinate daily production personnel schedule.
  • Provide complete premise (Headcount) communication.
  • Log Employee attendance plus issue attendance forms to HR.
  • Review employee time punches and issue Time Card Corrections (TCC) forms to HR.
  • Responsible for providing clerical and administrative support for production department.
