About The Position

J&J Snack Foods, a leader in the snack food industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and bilingual (English/Spanish) Production Clerk. The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll, JDE, and Excel. The role involves scheduling associates, managing projects, and supporting efficiency improvements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in a related field is a plus.
• Proven experience in a similar role within a production or manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish (reading, writing, and speaking) is required.
• Strong experience with JDE software.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Payroll Management: Process and manage payroll for production staff. Ensure accurate and timely payroll submissions.
• Work Instructions: Prepare detailed work instructions to ensure compliance with production standards. Provide clear communication and training on work instructions to associates.
• JDE Experience: Utilize JDE software for production and inventory management. Maintain accurate records and generate necessary reports.
• Excel Proficiency: Create and manage spreadsheets for tracking production data. Analyze data to support decision-making and process improvements.
• Scheduling Associates: Coordinate and schedule production staff to meet operational needs. Ensure adequate staffing levels to meet production targets.
• Project Management: Manage projects aimed at improving efficiency, reducing rework, and enhancing labeling processes. Track progress and report on project outcomes.
• General Support: Provide backup support for labeling and other production tasks as needed. Assist with other administrative tasks to ensure smooth operations.
