About The Position

Scott & Associates, P.C., operating in partnership with S&A Legal Management Services, Inc., is a legal recoveries organization committed to providing exceptional legal representation to industry clients. The company is seeking a document processor to join its Production team. This role supports the legal operations process by managing document receipt, distribution, processing, preparation, and shipping.

Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently with excellent attention to detail in a high-volume fast paced environment
• Minimum of two years' general office experience
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Power Point
• Ability to operate basic office equipment such as a copy machine, fax machine, printer, scanner, and computer
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively
• Ability to be flexible to adapt and act quickly when urgent matters require it
• Ability to work and maintain patience with diversified individuals of various ethnic backgrounds and professional competencies

Nice To Haves

• High volume data entry or document processing experience

Responsibilities

• Processing all incoming legal documents with urgency
• Prepare documents for delivery to clients or internal staff ensuring all requisite attachments are present
• Sorting, packaging, and mailing legal documents
• Recording information in the Firm’s case management system
