As a Production Cell Team Lead, you’ll guide a crew of 8–12 operators while reporting to a Group Leader (Supervisor). Your aim: develop people, elevate standards, and keep production flowing smoothly. Your Schedule Second shift runs 3:00 pm–1:00 am, Monday–Thursday, with overtime on Friday as needed. A Day in This Role Kick off the shift with a focused huddle covering safety, quality, HR updates, and production targets. Onboard and coach new teammates in your area; be their go-to resource from day one. Promote safety every hour—verify PPE, reinforce procedures, and correct issues immediately. Drive continuous improvement by gathering ideas, testing solutions, and sustaining wins. Keep the work visible: maintain KPIs for your zone and complete Hour-by-Hour Boards. Standardize excellence: create, maintain, and audit Team Member Standard Work. Run core shop-floor systems: 5S audits, Dupont Stop Observations, and work stacks. Use SAP to support the manufacturing process and ensure accurate transactions. Communicate proactively with fellow Team Leads for smooth shift-to-shift handoffs. Escalate systemic or production issues to the Group Leader quickly and clearly. Coach through conflict, partnering with Group and Area Leaders to reach resolution. Pitch in on additional tasks that keep the line performing at its best. What You Bring Experience leading others (work or volunteer). Understanding of manufacturing processes preferred. People-first, servant leadership mindset. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills. Demonstrated leadership capability. High school diploma or equivalent. Physical and Pre-Employment Requirements Ability to stand for long periods; occasional sitting; manual dexterity; stooping and bending. Pre-employment physical including a baseline lift of at least 50 pounds.
