Production Batchmaker - Day Shift

About The Position

Nazdar's manufacturing plant is in search of a Batchmaker to assist in the ink production area. Shift - Monday - Friday 5:30 am - 2:00 pm. Starting Pay: $18.25 (with no previous batch experience) and $20.25/hr (with previous batch making, mixing, and blending experience) Eligible for Benefits, Paid Holidays, and Paid Time Off!!

Requirements

Must be able to: stand and walk around the production floor for long periods of time
reach with hands and arms overhead above shoulders
bend to retrieve containers and packages
constantly lift materials to make batches
climb ladders to retrieve materials
talk or hear frequently
lift and/or move up to 65 pounds
may be required to push/pull on wheels, up to 4000 pounds
specific vision abilities required are the ability to distinguish color

Responsibilities

Weighing or measuring materials, ingredients, and products to ensure conformance to requirements
Recording weight of materials used on production records.
Introducing appropriate raw materials into batches in the proper sequence.
Observing the production of the ink and monitoring equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation.
Adding or mixing chemicals and ingredients for processing.
Communicate with batch makers from other shifts.
Work with the QA department to insure quality standards are met.
Cleaning equipment and surrounding floor area at the end of each work shift
